Why My Cat Thinks She Owns the Couch (Because She Does)

Y'all, let's talk about how my cat has straight-up claimed the couch as her throne. Like, I bought it, but she owns it. Make it make sense. 🙃

Every time I try to sit, she's sprawled out, giving me that "You're in my spot" glare. And if I dare to move her? Cue the dramatic sighs and tail flicks. Classic.

Apparently, cats scratch and lounge on furniture to mark their territory. It's their way of saying, "This is mine, back off." So, my couch? Officially hers.

I've tried everything—fancy cat beds, treats, even reasoning with her (lol). But nope, the couch remains her domain. Guess I'll just sit on the floor like a peasant.

At the end of the day, it's her world, and I'm just living in it. And honestly? I'm kinda okay with that.
